Active Sensing, Inc. develops and sells Acseni® configuration management and data management software. There are various terms for what our software does: product lifecycle management (PLM), configuration management (CM), product data management (PDM), document control, engineering data management (EDM), and others. No matter what you call it, we're really interested in ensuring that your organization's design information is accurate, reliable, and available throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Our systems are used in many commercial organizations, as well as in FDA Part 820 (GMP), ISO 9000, and military environments. Although we emphasize design information, customers use our software to manage quality manuals, technical publications, process and plant data, and other technical data.
We specialize in small- to medium-sized companies (under 150 users) who need many of the capabilities of UNIX-based PDM systems, but are concerned about the substantial investment in time, money and resources that these other systems require. Our goal is to provide a significant portion of these larger systems' capabilities for a small fraction of their cost.
