Acseni supports two methods for viewing files in the Library:

• Up to four separate applications can be launched to view specified files. These programs can include both view-only utilities, such as the Adobe Acrobat Reader and Microsoft Word Viewer, and applications that can create or modify data files, such as Autodesk’s AutoCAD and the Windows Notepad. Files viewed in this manner are first copied to the client’s temporary directory, and are deleted after the viewing application closes.
• Kamel Software's FastLook16 file viewer acts as an integrated extension to Acseni. Viewing functions include pan, zoom in/out, scale, view entire document, rotate, B/W raster inversion and restore previous view. Multi-page TIF files are also supported. Files are viewed directly from the library directory, and therefore do not require local hard disk space for a temporary file.

In either case, the original file will not be modified. Microsoft Word View and Adobe Acrobat Reader are included with Acseni package. The FastLook16 viewer must be licensed separately. A utility is provided by ASI to link the viewer applications to Acseni.
