Acseni® Configuration & Data Management System |
A separate Environment window consolidates all system administration functions. These collections of functions manage
System attributes are contained in tables and related options. Most environment records can be enabled/disabled, renamed, added or deleted to conform to the companys environment.
Substantially all functional customization occurs through the Environment window, and is usually performed by the system administrator.
Acseni is written in the developer version of Microsoft Access, Release 2.0 (16-bit). Companies wishing to extend Acsenis capabilities may attach additional interfaces (Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, or Open Database Connectivity [ODBC] compliant development tools) to the data tables. Microsoft Access itself provides OLE 2 functions for inter-application communication.
Users wishing to modify Acsenis functions and interface can be provided source code access under certain circumstances. Please contact ASI for further details.
Existing tables may be extended, and new tables and relations created, without adversely affecting the program. Users should contact ASI before extending the data dictionary to assure continued compatibility with Acseni.
