Documentation

User documentation is oriented towards self-installation and maintenance. It consists of

• Administrator’s Installation & Configuration Guide (36 pages)
• User's Guide tutorial material with step-by-step procedures for basic functions (28 pages)
• Program concepts, including an introduction to setting up a configuration management system (38 pages).
• Program reference, which has an explanation of all major forms, followed by detailed command descriptions (136 pages)

Subsidiary information in the program reference includes glossary, trouble-shooting guide, and resources listing (e.g., books, periodicals, professional PDM organizations, military and commercial CM standards). The printed documentation is also available as part of the context-sensitive, on-line help file.
